The OPTISWIRL 5080 is a Vortex flowmeter for high temperature applications up to +427°C / +800°F. The flowmeter is particularly designed for measurement of saturated and superheated steam above +240°C / +464°F. Other applications involve high temperature media like thermo oil or other heat transfer liquids as well as high temperature process and auxiliary gases.
The OPTISWIRL 5080 is available with flange connection or in sandwich design. It is intrinsically safe and explosion proof for use in hazardous areas. The 2-wire device offers pulse and current output (4…20 mA) with HART®.
